Amanda and Lori are amazing! Amanda helped me find the perfect floor plan. She is new to the staff and I couldn't say enough good things about her. I love living at Sophia Square where I am close to so many restaurants, gym, and the Monon. The staff here has been very professional and helpful! I just signed my second lease here. The paperwork was easy and explained to me very well. Thank you Sophia Square for giving me a great place to live!
The minor maintenance issues I had were resolved within 1 hour of placing the work order. Even though the parking garage is public, the staff informs you of special events to plan for this and of course encourages to participate.

There continues to be more upgrades to the fountain/pool area . Staff is very welcoming and wants to help you find your apartment fit with their floor plans.
Not a bad place to live. Some of the layouts are a little strange but the location is pretty nice for Carmel - an Anytime Fitness in the building as well as a few restaurants.
The 3/5 is mainly because of the thin floors and walls. If you don't live on the fourth floor, you will hear every step your upstairs neighbor makes, and you'll most likely have an upset neighbor below you.
But honestly, a pretty great place.
Please block some parking slots for residents because many a times I end up parking on the street mostly during summers and Friday and Saturday evenings .
Great location and facility in downtown Carmel where you could get almost everything in walking distance (i.e Joe's Market for meat/fish, Farmers market for veggies, milk)
The amenities are phenomenal, the staff is awesome. Utility bills are pretty low. Over all the actual apartments are super nice. Every other month the apartments offer some sort of gathering or event to bring the apartment community together, which is really nice. I would say the staff goes above and beyond. Also, noise in the building is minimal, walls are pretty thick.
Very safe area and right next to the Monon Trail and does a very good job of integrating with the community.
The only downfalls I think this place has are a lack of privacy (parking garage is open to the public, so you kind of can't find a parking spot friday and saturday evenings or during special events, also the elevator goes from the garage to the first floor for the public, so it's kind of awkward for those of us who wear pjs to walk our dog at 11pm, lol), and the only place you can really take your pet is to the Monon trail to go to the bathroom. The neighbors directly across 1st Ave from the apts are EXTREMELY mean if your dog sets a paw on their property.
Its a great place to call "home". The entire staff at Sophia Square always greet you with a smile and are very helpful on any requests that I put in, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise . The corridor and facilities area are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. The pool area is lovely. I love the convenience of the elevator and Two level under ground covered parking garage. I live alone here and could not feel safer anywhere else....a beautiful neighborhood with Carmel Downtown and Mo-non trail. The amenities area is awesome.
