JD Byrider in Anderson is full of great people but the CNAC department has charged my back card now 2 times without my permission! I just had a charge come through on my account from them and they have not even tried to call me when I talked to someone last week I told her my card is not on file for them to charge when ever the hell they want and if it happens again I will be pissed I live 30 min away from that place and have 3 kids I can't just be up and at that place by 10 am when you all open the damn doors over it I will NEVER recommend that place to anyone and I will NEVER go through them again!!

A lady name laurel and Jen were fast talkers, rude and looked at my credit when they tell you that they don't look at credit. I gave them all my information they asked for to determine a down payment and told Laurel my situation and she told me that it would be $750 to $1000. When I came back a second time with my information she informed me to bring in my w2 from 2016 even though I brought a wage form of my current employer and past employer a month ago. Once my information was sent to back to determine a down payment another lady told me that I would be able to get a call from Laurel to tell me what my down payment and monthly payment would be but she never called. Once I called she said I had to come back up there to get that determination and they still denied me demanding a over $2,000 down payment for they out of date old cars. Wasted a lot of my time when they assured they would help me based off my income and not my credit. They looked and determined my payment based off my credit anyway. They are shiesty

I was transferred to the attendant that my husband spoke to yesterday and I was told that they would get to it as soon as the staff was finished with their scheduled work. A short time later, I was contacted by another member of the staff to find out where the keys for the car were left. Shortly after that, the second staff member contacted me to let me know that the vehicle had been taken into the garage and that it was starting just fine. He stated that they had started it several times and did not see any problem with getting it started! REALLY??? I explained to him that we had brought it there because of the alternator, NOT the starter! He then asked me what made me think it was the alternator! NO COMMUNICATION between workers!

He then informed me that the car was no longer under warranty, due to the mileage, and that if I wanted them to replace the alternator, they could do it for just over $200. I had my husband call and talk with him and he was told that the part would be "at cost" for $152.00, before labor and tax.

THEN....I received a call from the second staff member again to let me know that they had tested the alternator and it was still charging fine but that a baring was going out in the alternator. He then told me, "I think it will be okay to drive it." UNBELIEVABLE!! I told him that we live 15 miles out of town and have a small son and I did not want to drive something that he "thought" would be okay knowing that there was something wrong with the alternator.

I would not recommend using the service department at this JD Byrider for any mechanical problem....they are argumentative, incompetent and getting over on the customers!

TODAY....I called to make sure that they were aware of why the vehicle was at the shop, to make sure that they had the keys and to give them my contact info so they could call me when they diagnosed the vehicle.

I bought a truck form here right around two years now at the Springfield MO location. Everything was fine until I asked them to fix my transmission under warranty now that this is done I've Payed two more payments so today around noon I go In to pay my payment and I'm told by a guy named Winston I can no longer come in the building to pay my payments I have to find another way to pay them I have payed them with cash for the last two years they claim that I have been making threats to the whole staff wich is false do now I can't go in and pay my payments looks like there just trying to steal my truck back now I'm getting a attorney all I want is to pay my payments for the next year I'm going to call the corporate office Monday thanks for reading

If I could give less than one star regarding this experience, I would! We are in the Springfield, MO area and bought our SUV from the Springfield, MO location about two years ago. The car has run well and we have not had any problems with the service department until today! Yesterday, the vehicle started whining and growling while running. My husband, who is a licensed mechanic, looked at the vehicle and found that the alternator was not working. When he called the service department, he was treated as if he did not know anything at all about motors and was told that "if it is determined, by our mechanics, to be the alternator" that it would be covered by warranty. So, we put the non-operational vehicle onto a trailer and took it to the Springfield JD Byrider shop.

My husband retrieved the car on the trailer and took it to another mechanic to have the alternator tested.....SURPRISE......it was NOT charging! AND the alternator they could get us "AT COST" was $148.00. So, not only is the service department at the Springfield, MO location uneducated and incompetent, the customers are being gauged and all the while are being told that they are getting their parts "AT COST!" Unbelievable!

Horable customer care. Please don't finance a vehicle from this unethical co. Last payment made July 21 and now Sep 13 still being lied to on where the title is which I offered twice to pick it up. There are better dealers out there, shop around, better yet save your money and pay cash to a private citizen.
