I took my son for a sports physical and they got us right in with no wait. The doctor and all the rest of the staff were super friendly. Plus the physical was only $20 compared to $69 where I went the previous year!
As with any urgent care, it's the luck of the draw how long you'll have to wait. There's a rabbit warren of exam rooms behind the waiting area, so it may LOOK empty but not BE empty. For me, it's still better than waiting until the next day or week with my PCP. Bring a book or something, because they try to get you out of the nice waiting room (with cable TV and magazines) quickly into an exam room with nothing to do except count band-aids.
While most staff is helpful and nice, it would be great if they tighten the followup procedure.When called to give an update, they are expected to get in touch with doctor-on-call and call back the patient. I found this process not as rigorous as it needs to be. There's a bit of scope for improvement there
Always very polite staff! I've gone both early morning and night. I'm usually pretty fussy about things like that too. All the doctors I've seen have been pleasant and friendly. I especially like Dr. Parks, who has a very good bedside manner and always patiently and gently answers all my questions.
I started going to this urgent care because it's open earlier and later than any other in my area, and my kids always seem to get sick in the evening. I've been about 6 times as of this writing.
Dr.Parks is one of the best doctors I have seen . Had been there for an injured knee. What strikes me is Dr.Parks's patience in answering questions, his competence in diagnosis, treatment plan that is comprehensive and includes followups with specialists. Even Simple things like washing the wound and carefully removing the bandage so as to not hurt the patient , Dr.Parks was impressive. If only for Dr.Parks, I would have rated it a 5-star facility.
When my daughter broke her finger they had an x-ray right there, which pleasantly surprised me and saved us another trip vs. going to my PCP.
The doctor was rude to me and didn’t even check the things I️ was concerned about. He didn’t even read my chart to know I️ didn’t have tonsils and yet tried to “look” for them gagging me in the process. Made me wait for an hour with a fever of 102.5 just to send me home without any medication. I️ know the whole idea behind not handing out antibiotics for everything but I️ am very sick and now I️ have to go somewhere else. When they called to “check” on me I said I️ was still super sick and needed meds but the lady just ended the call and I️ never heard back. I️ am too sick to deal with any of this.
Very simple visit. No tests. 30 minutes total max. Prescribed antibiotics for a sinus infection. Bill came to $190 before insurance! Be sure to ask for an estimate!
