I came in for the Signature Massage and Signature Facial. Jessica did a very thorough consultation for both services. The massage made my body feel so much better and she did a great job of focusing on my back like I had asked. By the time the 80 minute massage was over and she started the facial, I caught myself falling asleep. Pure Relaxtion. I re-booked my appointment and will be returning in 6 weeks! Thank You!!!
I feel like I should probably give Silver Door another chance to wow me, since it was an unusually tough day for them before I came in, but I found it to be just "nice" which is rather faint praise for a spa experience.
Good stuff: Sweet, kind employees. Spa robes. Complimentary beverages served pleasantly in the "room of peace." Heated shoulder wrap in the "room of peace." I enjoyed feeling "pampered."
This spa is by far one of the best I've been to. You can tell they really care about the cleanliness and making sure you have a great experience. The place of peace is so relaxing I could have spent hours in there.
Took my girlfriend in for the couples massage for her birthday. The service was great & the staff was super friendly. The best part is how they cater to you before the service. Champagne, robes, heated next wraps. It really helped us relax before our massages. Would recommend this place and most definitely will return. Thanks Silver Door!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! My fiancé and I decided to go with the couples massage which we enjoyed, upon checking out there was some promotion that if you book your next visit now you get 10% off the next service, so we decided to go ahead and do that. When our next appointment came around we were going through a family crisis. We had been in and out of the hospital for days prior dealing with a very important and unexpected situation. My father-in-law ended up passing away. When I realized I missed my appointment I called the spa to see if I could reschedule and informed them that I was in that hospital dealing with a very important situation. At first I was told that I could rescheduled with no problem but then the run around began. I got different stories from almost everyone I spoke to. I was extremely stressed during this time and expressed this every time I spoke with someone at the spa. In the end they told me that I better stop calling or they would call the police and I wouldn't get any money back or couldn't reschedule because I missed my appointment. Mind you, I told them I had hospital records and so on to prove that I didn't miss my appointment "just because". This place was extremely heartless given the situation and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!! I would recommend WOODHOUSE DAY SPA. I told the Woodhouse staff about all the trouble and agony that I had to deal with because of the the heartless unsympathetic staff. They not only made up for silver doors mistake, but they gave myself and my fiancé a complete spa day on them. I can not tell you how this made feel and how grateful we were. I am very thankful that I found a place that actually cares about their customers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WOODHOUSE DAY SPA.
Not-so-good stuff: Both the hostess and my therapist mentioned several times that they were a bit discombobulated because there had been a "large party." There was a trash bag in the "room of peace" from the ongoing cleanup from the party. My spa treatment did not match up with the description online. There was no body brushing and no concluding massage with Body Butter. My skin was somewhat dried out from the clay and could have used the moisturizing. I mentioned at checkout that I thought I remembered the description online being different from what I received, but I didn't have it memorized, and was focused on enjoying myself, so I didn't say anything during the actual services.
I also mentioned as I was checking out that my shower had gone ice-cold before I had finished. The young lady suggested that I had been in there too long, but I had only been in there long enough to rinse off the clay and shampoo and condition my hair (which was full of oils from the scalp massage). Then she suggested that it might have gone cold because they were doing laundry (because of the large party).
