This is by far one of the easiest places to shop for all three of our kiddos. Can always find at least a couple treasures and never leave without the things we are looking for. Have a good selection and this store is always a lot more organized and cleaner than some of the other resale shops in the area. And my daughter always loves to pick out a new bow at the front when we leave too!

While, I find the selection of clothing very good and the prices super competitive and the store orderly, I always walk away feeling disgusted at the way I’m treated. The staff is friendly and pleasant, just completely unaccomading to it’s clientele who are mostly young mothers that are either shopping with children or selling their clothing/equipment and have to wait with children. The store does not allow you or your child to use their bathroom facilities. (If you are a mother, you know that as soon as a you leave your home someone needs to go “potty.”) No diaper changing facilities are offered, even though every time I’m there the place is full of mothers with newborns. The employees and owner chastise you when your children play with the toys that are sitting around mostly at eye level. If I was a business owner of a store whose “target market” was children, I think I would have a very different approach. As a mother of a large family, who often shops consignment, I have never been more rudely treated in a retail store and my children have never been so unwelcome. The entire strip mall offers public restrooms except for the one place it would be most helpful. When I shop there, we always end up making a trip to Bed, Bath and Beyond prolonging the trip and making it super inconvenient.

Such a great place to go for clothing and baby items. I have purchased a stroller and many clothes here. I am always IMPRESSED! I usually walk out with a full bag, and a full wallet. I never break the bank at Once Upon A Child in Carmel! The staff is always so friendly too. If you're looking for name brands or higher end clothing at very reasonable prices, look no further! Below is an example of my last trip. A few things still had the original tags.

Again, I am thankful for the store, and the deals I can get! If I had the luxury, I would never step foot in there with my children.

Christian music resonates in the background but the vibe from the top certainly doesn’t resonate Christian charity or a heart for children or mothers.

I think the store would benefit greatly if they took a few tips and marketing techniques from places like “Chick-fil-A” who know how to treat their clientele, even the little ones, and they do so most graciously.

My SO and I went into this location to hopefully find some good baby items for our expecting Quadruplets. We were immediately greeted and even with a smile! I have been to another location a few months ago and wasn't impressed at all. The ladies at this location are friendly and courteous. I'm a first time mommy so expecting Four at once is over whelming to say the least but this store made it easy for me! I drove 40 minutes to visit this location and plan to visit again this weekend! We bought all of our big items for the babies here! Super clean and awesome customer service!

I went here a year ago to use a buy one, get one clothing item half off coupon I had. The owner/manager tried not to honor the coupon, which had no restrictions. She asked me where I got it, I told her, paid, and left. The owner called me an hour later. She said she had called all other Once Upon a Child stores in the area. She said they did not accept that coupon either and began aggressively interrogating me on where I had received the coupon. I called her unprofessional and said she should call the OUaC National marketing if she had a problem, not the customer. She continued to argue with me. They lost a customer over a less than $3 discount.
